Outline of Dharma Cultivation Essentials of Zhengjue Monastery

    《正觉修持法要大纲》是仁炟长老根据剃度恩师能行上人及依止师海圆老和尚的传授，依据佛经和祖师大德的传承总和而成，没有门户之见，不局限于一宗一派，无论出家在家均可参考修学。长老一直依此而修，受益匪浅。此法要要求在正确发心、严守戒律的基础上，深入经教，明信因果，精进修持；提倡佛教各宗各派平等团结，不拘泥于一宗一派；主张通宗通教、兼收并蓄，脚踏实地，实修实证。
Outline of Dharma Cultivation Essentials of Zhengjue Monastery synthesizes the teachings of Ven. Master Nengxing, the tonsure master of Ven. Master Renda and Ven. Master Haiyuan, the master under whom Ven. Master Renda studied, Buddhist scriptures as well as heritage of patriarchs and eminent monks. They contain no sectarian bias, and stick to no particular school or sect, thus both laymen and monastics can refer and practice them. Ven. Master Renda cultivates according to the Dharma Essentials all the while and has benefited greatly.The Essentials require practitioners to enter deeply into sutras and teachings, understand and believe in the law of cause and effect, practice diligently on the basis of correct motivation and observing precepts strictly; advocate the equality and unity of all Buddhist schools and sects, stick to no particular faction; comprehend both Chan and other schools’ teachings, absorb and incorporate their philosophies; practice honestly and achieve enlightenment in a down to earth manner.

    此法要简明扼要，便于修持。既能开启般若智慧，除障袪病，又能积累净土资粮，易于成就；同时现世亦令修行者，正面能量增加、身心强健愉悦、烦恼障碍祛除、福德智慧增长。
The Dharma Essentials are concise and handy for operation. The manual not only helps to enlighten prajna wisdom, removes obstacles and gets rid of ailments, but also accumulates merits for Pureland. It is easy to succeed. At the same time, practitioners will increase their positive energy, become strong, healthy and joyful, eliminate afflictions and obstacles, and enrich blessings and wisdom in this life.
